Community Promotion

Perk.Exchange makes it easy to support the Code Wallet ecosystem with a basic promotion.

New ecosystems thrive on incentives. Perk.Exchange allows supporters to quickly and easily create promotions that encourage Code Wallet spending. A promotion is a pledge to reward spenders based on certain conditions. The platform offers a Community Promotion with basic conditions. We believe these conditions work for most supporters. However, these conditions can be customized - and we encourage users to update them for their individual objectives.

Create a Community Promotion

There are two ways to create a community promotion: using the web interface and the Telegram Bot. To create a promotion using Telegram,

1. Follow the onboarding steps and make sure to connect your Telegram user

2. In a chat or DM with @PerkExchangeBot send the command /sponsor:

After the bot responds as above, the promotion is confirmed active: you can begin to receive invoices as user spends qualify. You can boost the promotion to make it publicly visible or to use it in streaming broadcasts.

Pay User Rewards

When a user triggers a reward you'll be assigned an invoice for the amount. Simply open the invoice and pay using Code Wallet. You are not obligated to pay the invoice.

If you've logged onto perk.exchange recently and accepted browser notifications, you'll be notified that a new invoice awaits your payment. Otherwise you can see unpaid invoices accrue in your "Financials/Expenses" menu option:

Criteria

The following table describes the conditions needed for a user to qualify for a Community Promotion reward:

Criteria		Details
Receiver	Any payment made through Perk.Exchange	All user payments, marketplace purchases, social votes, etc and apps can qualify
Spends	2 / week	Regularity is key for building a habit
Amount	$0.03	This is lower than the minimum Code Wallet spend - guaranteeing all spends can qualify regardless of amount

Users are limited to 1 reward per week.

When the promotion is boosted, it is branded with the user's avatar and appears as follows on the public Promotions page:
